Holy Family College offers a quality liberal arts education rooted in the principles of Franciscan Catholic tradition. The foundation of the College is built on faith, family, and academic excellence. An emphasis also is placed on the Franciscan Values of Community, Compassion, Peacemaking, and Reverence for Creation. Students are equipped not only with the skills to excel in their future career endeavors, but to become servant leaders in their communities. The College offers 21 undergraduate majors – including its four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program – and three graduate programs in a dynamic, personalized environment. Holy Family College is committed to making higher education an affordable option for everyone; 100 percent of full-time freshmen and transfer students receive financial aid. The College also provides students with diverse options to become engaged, from men’s and women’s sports to honor societies, a student publication, and departmental clubs for which special talent scholarships are available

Admission requirements

At least 16 academic units of study in high school, including English (4), history (1), social sciences (2), mathematics (3), science (3, of which 1 must be a lab science), foreign languages or fine arts (1), minimum 2.0 GPA, 18 ACT score


How AP/IB credits are handled

Credit awarded for AP scores 3 or better. IB credit accepted on a course-by-course basis.

Other programs

Accelerated evening coursework on the main campus in Manitowoc and at outreach sites throughout the state, tutorial services, and credit for prior learning; traditional on-campus day and evening programs, teacher certification, and certificate programs ranging from business to ministry.
