Learn more about how high school students can earn college credit at Wisconsin's private, nonprofit colleges and universities (also known as dual enrollment).
Thanks to a collaboration of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and the Wisconsin Higher Education Aids Board (HEAB), school counselors can now view twelfth grade students' Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion status in WISEdash for Districts.
To view the dashboard, titled “FAFSA Completion Status by Subgroup,” districts will need to opt in by signing a District FAFSA Data Sharing Agreement and sending a scanned PDF to Gregg Curtis, School Counseling Consultant on DPI’s Student Services, Prevention and Wellness (SSPW) team via email at gregg.curtis@dpi.wi.gov. The dashboard will be accessible to WISEdash for Districts users who have been granted a new security role called “Detail FAFSA Access.”
For more information on how to get started, your staff may also visit the FAFSA About the Data page. If there are questions about accessing this new dashboard, please open a WISEsupport ticket, and someone will respond shortly.
