WAICU-affiliated boards are formal governing bodies that set policies, manage costs, and oversee compliance for the entity.
Board members are the WAICU member presidents or their designees, as appropriate. WAICU staff attend board meetings as non-voting participants for administrative purposes. Boards may create committees to support specific aspects of their work.

The WAICU Board directs the efforts of the association and establishes a standing committee, the Executive Committee, to serve a specific ongoing function in support of the board’s responsibilities. Meetings are typically held twice per year.
