To support WAICU institutions’ international travel and study abroad programs, WAICU is happy to report that we have renewed our agreement with Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI). The enrollment system is up and running for the 2025 policy year, and working with CISI is easy. WAICU members appreciate their great customer service.

CISI is a leading provider of plans that cover the risks associated with educational activities outside of the United States. In addition to accident, sickness, travel assurance, and evacuation insurance, CISI offers a Team Assist Plan service with 24/7 medical, travel, and technical assistance. COVID-19 remains covered under the policy as any other illness.

The CISI plan also includes Doctor Please, a global teleconsultation service with multi-language capabilities to assist with non-emergency illnesses, injuries, infections, colds, and allergies.
