Resources for Professional/Occupational Licensure Requirements
New licensure regulations significantly impact student enrollment, curriculum development, and staff and faculty workloads. WAICU members are addressing these requirements with help from The Bookmark, a clearinghouse of licensure requirements compiled and updated by Higher Education Licensure Pros (HELP). Under WAICU’s enterprise license, nine WAICU member institutions are currently enjoying access to exclusive resources:
August 20 at 2:00 p.m. Central – Open Office Hour with Kris
Enterprise members can bring questions related to professional/occupational licensure compliance to this open office hour. Kris will do his best to answer or direct you to additional resources.
Licensure Better Practices Guide
Enterprise members have access to this resource that includes information about federal requirements, implementation considerations, examples of student location policies and written attestation documentation, along with other resources.
The list of license types available in The Bookmark is ever growing. Six new license types will be added by the end of August:
- Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Teacher-Deaf Education
- School Library Media Specialist
