Student Guide to AI Available from Elon University and AAC&U

Elon University and the American Association of Colleges & Universities (AAC&U) recently collaborated to produce a student guide to navigating college in the artificial intelligence era.

The guide is written from a student perspective and provides practical advice about using AI effectively and responsibly in college and beyond. This resource is available for all institutions to distribute to students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.

The guide is free and available under a Creative Commons license. Here are four ways you can use it, as detailed by Elon University and AAC&U:

  1. Download the PDF and distribute it via email or via your website
  2. Provide your community with a link to the website where the guide is available (see above).
  3. Request a version of the PDF customized with your institution’s logo on the front cover. To receive the custom version, send a request along with a high-resolution file of your logo to: imagine@elon.edu. Elon University will provide a custom PDF to you as soon as possible.
  4. Use and adapt the content of the guide within your institution’s materials by giving proper credit, as spelled out in the Creative Commons license.

Elon University would appreciate hearing your feedback on the guide and suggestions about how to improve future versions. Please email them.
