Join Us for the 2025 Student Belonging and Success Summit
The WAICU Student Belonging and Success Summit will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Alverno College in Milwaukee.
WAICU has organized an engaging, one day program for all staff at WAICU-member colleges and universities, providing tangible actions to support belonging and success efforts that benefit all students. This event will feature notable speakers, interactive sessions, and valuable networking opportunities to equip academic leaders and staff with strategies and insights to sustain and strengthen educational environments.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Dr. Tia Brown McNair, a Partner at Sova, a higher education consulting firm. She previously served as the Vice President in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Student Success at the American Association of Colleges & Universities (AAC&U).
- Dr. Liz Gross, Founder and CEO, Campus Sonar – Social Intelligence Industry Insights
- Dr. Joretta Nelson, Vice Chairman, Credo and Founder of Moving the Needle/Owner
The Summit will also feature a speaker who will discuss the evolving landscape of federal regulations and policies related to the Department of Education’s Dear Colleague Letter, its relation to the Students for Fair Admission v. Harvard case, and the impact on student support and campus activities.
