TCWGlobal: Your All-in-One Partner for Employment Support
As a preferred service provider for WAICU, TCWGlobal helps Wisconsin’s private colleges and universities simplify hiring, payroll, benefits, and compliance—without the usual administrative burden.
Through our Employer of Record (EOR) model, we act as the legal employer for your adjuncts, part-time staff, or remote employees, allowing your institution to hire flexibly while we handle the paperwork, legal responsibilities, and risk. As a WAICU member, you receive preferred pricing and white-glove support. Here’s how WAICU members benefit:
Expand Your Adjunct Faculty Pool
Remote learning opens the door to top-tier talent nationwide. Whether you need a cybersecurity expert in California or a guest lecturer from New York, TCWGlobal makes it easy to hire across state lines—without setting up new legal entities or worrying about labor law compliance.
Streamline Payroll, Benefits & Administration
Managing a diverse, mixed-schedule workforce can be complex. We handle everything from timely, accurate payroll to administering compliant benefits programs—freeing your HR team to focus on mission-critical work.
Stay Compliant Across State Lines
U.S. labor laws vary widely by state. TCWGlobal ensures full compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations—reducing legal risk and protecting your institution.
Reduce Legal Exposure
We stay ahead of regulatory changes, so you don’t have to. From contract language to benefits administration, we provide legal protections that help mitigate disputes and ensure peace of mind.
Support a Flexible Workforce
Colleges rely on a blend of full-time, part-time, and contingent staff. We make it easy to manage this complexity with consistent processes, transparent reporting, and scalable support across all employee types.
Why do WAICU Members Choose TCWGlobal? Here’s what sets us apart:
- We pick up the phone. No phone trees, no endless email chains. Real people. Real help. Every time.
- Culture matters. We’re obsessed with providing a modern, human experience, for both you and your workers. Friendly, responsive, and deeply values driven.
- We care like it’s our own team. From onboarding to offboarding, we act like an extension of your HR department, not a black box vendor.
- We give back. Our team is actively involved in philanthropy and community service, from local events to global impact initiatives.
- We’ve been doing this for 15+ years. We aren’t a startup still figuring things out. WAICU schools trust us because we’ve earned it, repeatedly.

Life & Disability Insurance
WAICU has sponsored a members-only Group Life and Disability Insurance Program since 1993. The premium rates are based on the Program’s claims experience, which has been very favorable. As a result, there have been five rate decreases over the past 31 years, with no rate increases.
Members can tailor any or all of the group life, voluntary life, short term disability and long term disability insurance benefits to meet the needs of each WAICU member and their employees. Because of the Program’s collective purchasing power, there are benefits automatically included that are not likely to be available outside of the WAICU Program. Examples include:
- Maximum monthly group long term disability protection up to $18,233/month
- Group life waiver of premium if an employee is disabled prior to age 67, rather than the usual maximum eligibility of age 60
- Guaranteed issue voluntary life benefits of $150,000 per employee, and $30,000 per spouse, with no minimum participation requirements
Standard Insurance Company also includes excellent ancillary benefits, including an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for the benefit-eligible employees of WAICU members who provide group long term disability insurance, as part of their high quality coverage for all participating WAICU members.
To contact WAICU about the program, email collaboration.info@waicu.org.
