For colleges and universities, an EOR simplifies much more than just hiring; it takes the headache out of managing payroll, benefits, and legal compliance, allowing your institution to focus on what really matters—providing quality education. Here’s how we can help:
Expanding Your Adjunct Faculty Pool
With the growth of online learning, you’re no longer limited to local talent. TCWGlobal enables you to hire adjunct faculty from across the country, broadening your course offerings and attracting specialized experts. Whether it’s a cybersecurity pro from California or a local expert in Wisconsin, TCWGlobal handles everything from employment contracts to staying compliant with state regulations, making the process smooth and worry-free.

TCWGlobal ensures that every paycheck is accurate and timely, and that all benefits are administered in full compliance with regulations. From health insurance to retirement plans, the EOR takes care of the details so you can focus on supporting your staff.
Navigating the National Patchwork of Labor Laws
Every state, including Wisconsin, has its own set of labor laws, which can be tricky to navigate, especially when employing staff across state lines. Enhancing Legal Protections
Employment disputes, benefits issues, and compliance concerns can quickly become legal nightmares. TCWGlobal provides strong legal protections by ensuring all employment practices meet state and federal standards, safeguarding your institution from costly legal challenges.
Supporting a Diverse Workforce
Colleges and universities often employ a mix of full-time, part-time, and temporary staff, each with unique benefits needs. TCWGlobal’s EOR services make it easy to manage these benefits, ensuring everyone gets the coverage they deserve while complying with Wisconsin regulations.

They regularly advise colleges and universities on student affairs, collegiate athletics and NCAA compliance, Title IX, Title IV, labor and employment matters, and corporate transactions.
Life & Disability Insurance
WAICU has sponsored a members-only Group Life and Disability Insurance Program since 1993. The premium rates are based on the Program’s claims experience, which has been very favorable. As a result, there have been five rate decreases over the past 31 years, with no rate increases.
Members can tailor any or all of the group life, voluntary life, short term disability and long term disability insurance benefits to meet the needs of each WAICU member and their employees. Because of the Program’s collective purchasing power, there are benefits automatically included that are not likely to be available outside of the WAICU Program. Examples include:
- Maximum monthly group long term disability protection up to $18,233/month
- Group life waiver of premium if an employee is disabled prior to age 67, rather than the usual maximum eligibility of age 60
- Guaranteed issue voluntary life benefits of $150,000 per employee, and $30,000 per spouse, with no minimum participation requirements
Standard Insurance Company also includes excellent ancillary benefits, including an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for the benefit-eligible employees of WAICU members who provide group long term disability insurance, as part of their high quality coverage for all participating WAICU members.
