WAICU has held an annual Compliance Summit since 2015 covering compliance issues spanning the needs of the campus community. 

In 2024, WAICU and the Universities of Wisconsin began a partnership as co-hosts of the first Wisconsin Higher Education Summit. This annual event brings together higher education leaders and practitioners from across both public and private institutions to gain practical knowledge in relevant topics that are impacting higher education and collaborate on ways to meet the challenges to mitigate risk and elevate higher education in Wisconsin. National speakers from across the higher education compliance realm will share knowledge on current issues and will engage participants in discussion, networking, and key takeaways.
