WAICU is a member of The Council of Independent Colleges (CIC), which assists independent institutions of higher education and state councils like WAICU. In addition to professional development, resources, and additional programs, CIC provides funding for special projects for state councils.

CIC recently awarded a Capacity Building Grant to help elevate WAICU’s advancement efforts, a key component of the current WAICU strategic plan. WAICU will engage an advancement consultant to provide guidance on raising programmatic and unrestricted funds that will make a direct and lasting impact on the entire organization and our 22 member institutions.
