Herzing University has expanded their Brookfield facilities to provide another location option for online nursing students across the country to complete their intensive experience. The site has been upgraded with new simulation and lab facilities to ensure a positive intensive experience.

What Are Intensives?

Online nursing students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) have the flexibility of pursuing their degrees from their home state, ensuring they can balance their education with family and work commitments. While virtual learning offers convenience, the value of practical, hands-on training remains crucial and a required part of becoming a nurse.

Intensives are short but immersive sessions that provide students with invaluable opportunities to interact with their peers and professors in a classroom setting, bridging the gap between virtual learning and real-world application. The on-campus intensives allow nursing students to exercise their skills through interactive activities that aren’t available through online coursework.

Hub for Learning Experiences

Herzing University offers an intensive experience at the Nashville campus, but the Brookfield campus offers an additional location option for students.

While on campus, students can participate in workshops on curricular concepts, such as scholarly writing, pharmacology, medical imaging, and ethics. These sessions serve as crucial skill and knowledge checkpoints to ensure students are on the right track.
