Job ad: Senior Vice President for Collaborative Services

The Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) is recognized in state law as the official organization of Wisconsin’s 24 private, nonprofit colleges and universities and their 56,000 students. WAICU seeks a new senior vice president for collaborative services to succeed Rodney Opsal who is retiring after 18 years of entrepreneurial leadership. WAICU has organized 48 cost-saving ventures with cumulative savings for member colleges of $181,738,882 for member colleges. A position description is linked here.

The senior vice president for collaborative services also serves as the COO of the WAICU Benefits Consortium, the WAICU Educational Technology Consortium, and the WAICU Retirement Readiness Collaboration.

This position reports to the WAICU president/CEO.

If you value creativity and innovation and can work in a collaborative, consensus-building style, this may be an opportunity for you. Familiarity with nonprofit higher education and leadership experience are a plus.
