Marian University of Wisconsin to Unveil New Rad Tech Space This Fall

Marian University students have a front-row seat to renovations on the third floor of Agnes Hazotte Hall, soon to be a state-of-the-art Radiologic Technology space, scheduled for completion by the fall of 2025.

Marian University of Wisconsin is set to unveil a state-of-the-art Radiologic Technology space for its popular Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology (BSRT) degree.

This ambitious renovation project, located on the third floor of Agnes Hazotte Hall on the Marian University campus, is currently underway and scheduled for completion by the fall of 2025.

The renovation was necessary due to the growth of the program under Brian Joachim, program director and assistant professor of Radiologic Technology, and Tabitha Miller, clinical coordinator and assistant professor of Radiologic Technology.

When Marian first launched its Radiologic Technology program in 2012, it was one of the first universities in the state of Wisconsin to offer a BSRT degree.

The program, which recently had its accreditation renewed by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), has a strong reputation, with graduates consistently achieving a 100 percent pass rate on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam.

Joachim and Miller have also created a unique atmosphere where students become more than a close-knit cohort and they feel supported and encouraged. The Marian Rad Tech students are highly sought after, with most students offered employment prior to graduation.

“The support we’ve received for this new Radiologic Technology space is a testament to the university’s commitment to providing an exceptional education in healthcare and preparing our students to be skilled, compassionate caregivers,” said Joachim.
